Intentional program violation overpayments are handled as inadvertent household error accounts receivable for collection purposes until a household member is found to have committed an intentional program violation through a disqualification hearing, in a court of appropriate jurisdiction or if the individual has signed a waiver to an administrative disqualification hearing.
