004.01(D)(iv)(1) TRAVEL ADVANCES AS WAGES.
If the travel advance is an advance of wages later earned by the employee and the advance is by written contract, the travel advance is considered income. The receipt of a wage advance for travel costs of a new employee does not affect the determination of whether subsequent payments from the employer are from a new source of income, nor whether a household must be considered destitute.
