006.02(A) VERBAL REQUESTS.

If a verbal request is received, the Department will request that the household submit a written request and help the household with the written request if the household requires assistance. If a household makes an oral request and does not submit a written request for a hearing, the Department will complete the procedures necessary to start the hearing process.
