002.49 PUBLIC ASSISTANCE HOUSEHOLD.

A household in which all members in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program unit are eligible for Supplemental Security Income, Assistance to the Aged, Blind, or Disabled Program, State Disability Program, or Aid to Dependent Children Program benefits even if the benefit amount is zero, or at least one member is authorized to receive Aid to Dependent Children Emergency Assistance or Employment First supportive services. The classification of Public Assistance household is not affected by the presence of a legally assigned foster child.
