002.17(A) CONTINUED ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION AS DISABLED.
A person meets the definition of disabled if the individual has been determined disabled by the agencies or laws listed above. The individual does not have to be receiving a payment from the agency which determined the disability. For example, if a person is certified to receive Supplemental Security Income but is in a suspended status, the individual would be considered disabled for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program purposes.
