When manual follow-up is required, SNAP E&T staff or providers conduct outreach directly to participants to obtain missing or clarifying information related to eligibility, participation, or outcome tracking. Follow-up is conducted using the most appropriate and accessible method for the participant, which may include: • Verbal contact by phone • Text messaging • Email communication The selected method depends on the participant’s preference, urgency of the information needed, and availability of current contact information.
