65 APPENDIX D. SUMMARY OF PUBLIC COMMENTS RECEIVED

In compliance with federal and state statutes, the North Carolina Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) State Plan for FFY 2019-2022 was developed in consultation with local governments and private sector organizations regarding the plan and design of public assistance in the State of North Carolina, to ensure services are provided in a manner appropriate to local populations. The draft of the TANF State Plan was initially posted for public comment on January 10, 2019 and was posted for the required 45-day period. There were no public comments received. A second draft of the TANF State Plan was posted for public comment on XXXX and was posted for the required 45-day period. There XXXX public comments received.
