Native Americans who are members of a federally recognized tribe do not have any out of pocket cost under the program. NC Health Choice has worked closely with the Eastern Band of the Cherokee to assure that all families with potentially eligible children have been reached and told of this program and the benefits it offers to the child and the tribe.
