This component includes educational programs or activities to: 1. Improve basic skills such as listening, speaking, reading, writing, digital literacy, and use of mathematical ideas and 2. Increase employability skills such as collaboration, problem solving, self-management, learning, and information and communication technology (ICT) skills required for participation in modern workplaces such programs include Adult Basic Education (ABE), basic literacy, and HiSET.
