1140.005.65 Voluntary Closing Requested by a Household – DSS Manuals

Close the case when a household voluntarily requests its case be closed.

If the household makes the request in person, ask the household to provide the request in a signed written statement.

If the household makes the request in writing, authorize the closing with the Worker Initiated Closing action and reason Voluntarily Closed Your Case.

If the household makes the request verbally, initiate an Adverse Action Worker Closing action with reason Voluntarily Closed Your Case.
