EMERGENCY AID See EMERGENCY PROGRAMS below.

EMERGENCY GENERAL ASSISTANCE (EGA) An ASSISTANCE program available to adults who are ineligible for MFIP and who are in an EMERGENCY situation.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE A program meeting the emergency medical needs of people ineligible for MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. See the Minnesota Health Care Programs Eligibility Policy Manual.

● Having utilities shut off.

● Receiving a utility shut-off notice.

● Receiving an eviction notice.

● Exiting a publicly-funded institution without an option to move to a fixed, adequate night time residence.
