MFIP, DWP, MSA, GA, GRH: Pre-Northstar Adoption Assistance will continue for families receiving this assistance until the agreement expires or the case transitions into Northstar Care for Children Adoption Assistance.

Do not count payments from pre-Northstar Adoption Assistance, Northstar Adoption Assistance and Northstar Kinship programs. For further information, see 0011.21 (Receipt of Other Assistance).

SNAP: Count the Pre-Northstar monthly adoption assistance payment, Northstar Adoption Assistance, and Northstar Kinship Assistance for basic maintenance and supplemental needs as unearned income for the child.

Exclude payments issued as a reimbursement for special non-medical need expenses.
