GUARDIAN OR CONSERVATOR FEES

MFIP, DWP, SNAP, GA: No provisions.

MSA: An allowance for guardian or conservator fees may be paid to MSA clients who are not residents of a nursing home, regional treatment center, or group residential housing facility.

Add an amount for the fee of a guardian or conservator to the monthly assistance standard. Use the fee amount negotiated by the county agency or approved by the court. The maximum fee is 5% of the unit's income, up to $100 a month.

Do not allow for a fee if the guardian or conservator is a county agency employee.

GRH: No provisions. For when to allow income deductions for guardian or conservator fees, see 0018.39 (Prior and Other Income Reductions).
