Child Care Assistance Program Policy Manual Issued 11/2021 Authorizing Care – Expedited Child Care 9.1.15 Authorizing care after the three month verification period Reporter Types If the family is a 12-Month Reporter, authorization continues at the same number of hours for the remainder of the 12-Month Eligibility Period. Additional hours can be authorized if the parents’ activities qualify them for more hours. If the family is a Schedule Reporter, the authorization is based on the parents’ verified activity schedule. Follow instructions in Chapter 9.1 (Authorizing child care) and sub-chapters to adjust the authorized hours based on verified activity schedules.
