Reject the online application. 4. Use the application summary document like a paper application. • If the household previously applied as a SAH household, log the new application under the SAH household’s previously established household number. • If the household is new to EAP, log the new application in eHEAT using the SAH application logging system. To safeguard the SAH household’s privacy, redact any private household information, such as a home address, social security numbers, etc., that is included in the online application-related documentation. Determining Consumption The SAH participant’s name and utility account number should be sufficient for utilities to provide EAP with consumption data. However, when manually requesting consumption data, energy vendors should be instructed to not return address information for SAH participants.
