Introduction

Chapter 1 Service Provider Selection and Responsibilities 1 The name of this chapter is changed to Service Provider Selection and Responsibilities.

2 The Service Provider Selection section (formerly Changing Program Providers) is moved to this chapter from the deleted Grant Contracts chapter. The section includes this new information: • EAP Service Providers must obtain Commerce input prior to an acquisition or merger. A minimum notice of 60 days prior to the effective acquisition or merger date is required. • If the EAP Service Provider change is due to an acquisition or merger, Commerce will decide if the new entity post- merger will continue to provide EAP services or if a formal request for proposal (RFP) process is necessary.
