Early Childhood Teacher and Leader of the Year Award Program 44 Honorees are celebrated at the Gala, and the overall honoree is announced. Honorees are celebrated at the Teacher Leader Summit. Finalist interviews are conducted. Application review and Finalist selection. The Louisiana Department of Education, in partnership with Dream Teachers, is excited to recognize and celebrate some of the state’s most exceptional educators through the Early Childhood Teacher and Leader of the Year programs.
