H-1510 GENERAL INFORMATION
Medicaid coverage may be continued for parents or caretakers relatives who lose Parent and Caretaker Relatives Group (PCR) coverage because of an increase in Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) from employment. Medicaid coverage may be continued for parents or caretakers relatives, their legal spouses who are in the home, and the dependent child. **
H-1510.1 Coverage
TM beneficiaries are eligible for the full range of Medicaid covered services. **
H-1520 Reserved
H-1530 TRANSITIONAL MEDICAID
Transitional Medicaid (TM) may provide continued Medicaid coverage for a parent or caretaker relative, that individual’s spouse (if living together) and dependent children who lose eligibility in PCR because of an increase in MAGI.
**
Note: The designation as primary caretaker is not based on the parent or caretaker relative’s being a tax filer, tax dependent, or non-filer. Refer to MEM H-2082.1 if determining who is the parent or caretaker relative is questionable.
** If a parent or caretaker relative’s spouse returns to the home after an absence, the returning individual is eligible for the remainder of the extended eligibility period.
If a child is born, adopted, loses eligibility in another Medicaid program, or returns to the home after an absence, this child may also qualify for the remainder of the extended eligibility period.
