► The following provisions of law apply to any program or activity funded with TANF funds: ► The Age Discrimination Act of 1975 ► Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 ► The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ► Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 ► The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022, amends Social Security Act section 402(a)(7) ► This program is prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, religion, sex, gender, national origin or ancestry, sexual orientation, age, or disability
Recertification Extensions: ► TANF recertifications will be extended by 12 months for the population coming due in January 2024 through May 2024. ► The extension will prevent incorrect discontinuances for KTAP (TANF) population due to the sheer volume of the Medicaid Public Health Emergency unwinding population and the Fiscal Responsibility Act of SNAP and ABAWD changes Privacy: ► Guaranteed through Kentucky Revised Statutes 194A.060, 205.175, and 205.177 ► Case record information not published or open for public inspection ► Compliance with the Health Insurance Portability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) ► Information available to the following entities: ► Public employees administering public assistance and child support programs ► All law enforcement agencies in cases involving the discovery and DocuSign Envelope ID: BCAE5958-05F7-4630-9CB0-C6ACABA180AA
