Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Title IV-A State Plan

40 ► Cooperate in a child support activity pursuant to 42 USC 608(a)(2) ► Assign support rights to the state pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 608(a)(3) and KRS 205.720(1) ► Participate in an annual eligibility review pursuant to 921 KAR 2:040, Section 2(2)(c) ► Undergo a criminal records check, and child abuse and neglect check ► Undergo a Relative Home Evaluation performed by the cabinet ► The Cabinet for Health and Family Services reviews the placement after a six (6) month period

Funding:

► Kinship Care program services funded with TANF Federal Funds and State MOE ► Kinship Care program services funded with state general funds not claimed as TANF MOE

Placement Support

Relative Placement Support Benefit:
