G. Evaluate individuals applying for the regular SNAP for SAFE. If the individual meets the criteria and wishes to apply for SAFE, have them call 1-866-256- 3823 to request a SAFE application. Take their application for the regular SNAP even when it appears that they MAY be eligible for SAFE. Do not refuse to let them apply for regular SNAP if they do express intent to apply.
