For the correct Medicaid budget to be applied, it is important to select the correct facility type on the Facility Details screen in the eligibility system (if applicable). If it is unclear what type of facility an individual resides in, it must be verified. This can be completed by contacting the individual, authorized representative or facility. The selections below will build the SIL budget in the eligibility system: • Developmentally Disabled or Developmental Disability • Nursing Facility/Long Term Care • Hospital • Psychiatric Hospital • CRF/DD Developmentally Disabled If a member has an approved HCBS waiver, the SIL budget will automatically be applied. For more information regarding the SIL, see IHCPPM 3010.20.15 and 3315.00.00.
