This category is identified in IEDSS as MA B. To be eligible in this category an individual must meet the definition of blindness set forth in State regulation. The definition is the same as that of the SSI program.2 The full range of Medicaid covered services is available to recipients in the MA B category, except for aliens who are eligible for emergency services only.
