gain weight sufficient for discharge to the home setting; (B) Stable children, newborns, or infants under the care of the child protective services awaiting placement; and (C) Patients in terminal phases of disease who request or whose legal guardians have requested in writing the desire not to be resuscitated and no subacute services have been or will be rendered.
