EDUCATIONAL COMPONENT: ENGLISH LANGUAGE ACQUISITION Description of the component. Provide a summary of the activities and services. Based on the E&T assessment and a participant’s employment goals, a referral to English Language Acquisition (ELA) activities may be the most beneficial way to begin E&T participation when English reading, speaking, and writing skills need to be improved to increase employability.
