Medicaid Card

If the application is approved, DPH or its affiliate partners will enter the eligibility information directly into the Georgia Medicaid Management Information System (GAMMIS). The A/R will receive a temporary Medical Assistance card until her ongoing eligibility is determined for full Medical Assistance. She will receive a Medical Assistance card within seven to ten days.
