Household members who are applying for SSI and for food stamps under DSSM 9043 will have the requirement for work registration waived until: 1) They are determined eligible for SSI and thereby become exempt from work registration; or 2) They are determined ineligible for SSI and where applicable, a determination of their work registration status is then made through recertification procedures in accordance with DSSM 9043, or through other means.
