NON-EDUCATION, NON-WORK COMPONENT: SELF- EMPLOYMENT TRAINING Description of the component. Provide a summary of the activities and services. Participants receive guidance on developing business ideas, conducting marketing research, and their business plans. They will receive financial literacy training, licensing and legal support, marketing and sales strategies, and ongoing mentorship. Participation is tracked weekly. For example, literacy or numeracy levels, recent labor market attachment, computer literacy, etc. The participant tests at a 4th-grade level or above on the CASAS test.
