ESA SNAP Policy Manual 332 Example 2 Additional information was requested from USCIS using the G-845 and the G-845 Supplement forms because information in verification and the immigration documents presented by the applicant do not match. USCIS has not responded by the end of the application processing timeframe. ESA must accept the documentation provided by the customer and certify the case for up to six months from the date the Department requested the proof from USCIS. If USCIS later provides additional information indicating that the documentation provided by the applicant does not establish eligibility, ESA would terminate benefits, establish a household-caused overpayment and, if applicable, refer for investigation if the documents appear fraudulent.
