Byrd Honors Scholarship Program − Robert E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement − Stafford Loan (formerly Guaranteed Student Loan)  AmeriCorps State and National, AmeriCorps NCCC  VA educational benefits  Exclude other nonexempt educational assistance when used for allowable educational expenses, including: − Tuition − Books − Lab fees − Student fees − Supplies and equipment Note: The cost of travel, research, clerical help, equipment not required for enrollment or class attendance and normal living expenses (including room and board) are not allowable educational expenses. Count any taxable nonexempt educational assistance remaining after subtracting allowable educational expenses as income to the household. Return
