If a sponsored immigrant can provide verification to ESA that their sponsor is also supporting other noncitizens, ESA will divide the income and resources being counted based on the total number of sponsored noncitizens. Likewise, if a sponsored noncitizen or their citizen child is exempt from having their income and resources counted, ESA will use the same process to determine how much should not be counted.
