g. Eligibility Period

For families approved without assignment to the wait list, including families whose applications are reopened pursuant to subsection (e) of this section, eligibility shall be granted eligibility retroactive for up to fifteen days prior to the date of application if the family is otherwise eligible and using child care services as of that date.

Families selected from the wait list shall be granted retroactive for up to fifteen days prior to the date on which the parent submits required documentation in response to a notice of selection from the wait list or on the date specified by the CCAP program administrator, whichever is later.

If the parent did not timely submit information or verification needed to determine eligibility for a particular child without good cause, eligibility for the child shall begin on the date the parent provides some or all of the requested information or verification.

Eligibility shall be approved for up to a maximum of six months from the month of application. The CCAP administrator shall schedule a redetermination within six months in accordance with the requirements of subsection (b) of section 17b-749-18 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies.
