k. Hearing Decision

The administrative hearing official shall issue a written decision within ninety days from the date the notice scheduling the hearing was mailed to the parent. The decision shall identify the evidence used to make the decision, specifies the reasons for the decision, cites relevant policy or regulation, responds to the reasoned arguments made by the parent or his or her representative and specifies the penalty.

If a disqualification penalty is imposed, the effective date and length of the disqualification period shall be specified.
