WIC 300-13 WIC Nutrition and Program Material Ordering Updated 12-2024
Connecticut WIC Program Manual
WIC 300-13 SECTION: Nutrition Services
SUBJECT: WIC Educational and Program Materials Ordering
POLICY The State agency maintains warehousing services at 410 Capitol Ave for certain WIC program materials and supplies. All orders for WIC forms, educational materials and breastfeeding supplies must be submitted via email to the WIC Secretary. As a cost savings measure orders must be consolidated to avoid the submission of multiple orders within the same month. The WIC local agency should designate one WIC local agency staff member for ordering purposes. The breast & chest feeding It’s Worth It campaign order form is available online at the following link, It’s Worth It Materials. The Connecticut WIC Program updated its WIC Nutrition Education materials in 2021 to include both digital and print formats. Staff can access the digital materials at Connecticut WIC | NUTRITION IS JUST the BEGINNING (wicresources.org) For print materials, Coordinators and Program Nutritionists have access to order through the Brush Art warehouse WIC Materials - Brush Art (brushartwicmaterials.com). Please refer to the Ordering Instructions for more information. Local agencies should notify the State agency if there is a change in Program Management, so the Brush Art warehouse maintains up to date contacts on file.
