Provide a brief explanation that describes how the provider focuses on moving participants promptly into regular, unsubsidized employment. At the end of the program, and upon completion of their coursework, participants spend time at a district host site completing the WBL portion of the program. At the end of their WBL, the participant is given an opportunity to indicate their interest in an open position. The district will then set up an interview for the participant. Once hired by the district, the participant is eligible to pursue the Apprenticeship program when they are ready to continue developing in their career. Job Retention Services, including career coaching and support services, will also be available to support SNAP participants as they move from completing the Pre-Apprenticeship into employment at the district.
