8.100.3.H. Citizenship and Identity Documentation Requirements 1. For determinations of initial eligibility and redeterminations of eligibility for Medical Assistance made on or after July 1, 2006, citizenship or nationality and identity status must be verified unless such satisfactory documentary evidence has already been provided, as described in 8.100.3.H.4.b. This requirement applies to an individual who declares or who has previously declared that he or she is a citizen or national of the United States. a.
