Nursing Facility is a facility or distinct part of a facility which is maintained primarily for the care and treatment of inpatients under the direction of a physician. Parent and Caretaker Relative is a MAGI Medical Assistance group that provides Medical Assistance to adults who are parents or Caretaker Relatives of dependent children. Patient is an individual who is receiving needed professional services that are directed by a licensed practitioner of the healing arts toward maintenance, improvement, or protection of health, or lessening of illness, disability, or pain. PEAK – the Colorado Program Eligibility and Application Kit is a web-based portal used to apply for public assistance benefits in the State of Colorado, including Medical Assistance.
