Colorado Option Plans: Affordable Health Insurance for Coloradans

Any company that sells health insurance in the state must offer plans with a specific set of lower, fixed costs, and make those plans available to everyone regardless of documentation status.

These plans are called Colorado Option plans, and they come in three tiers: Gold, Silver and Bronze. The differences in the tiers are based on premiums (what you pay per month), deductibles and costs for services (what you pay for care) and eligibility for different types of discounts.
