15847.7. (Amended by Stats. 2015, Ch. 455, Sec. 62.)

(a) For purposes of Sections 15847, 15847.3, and 15847.5, “group health coverage” includes any health care service plan, self-insured employee welfare benefit plan, or disability insurance providing medical or hospital benefits.

(b) This section shall become operative on July 1, 2014.
