14010. (Amended by Stats. 1992, Ch. 163, Sec. 154.)

(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the parent or parents of a person under 21 years of age shall not be held financially responsible, nor shall financial contribution be requested or required of such parent or parents for health care or related services to which the person may consent under any express provision of law, including, but not limited to, Sections 6924, 6925, 6926, 6927, 6928, and 6929 of the Family Code, and including, but not limited to, maternity home care, social service counseling, and other services related to pregnancy of the person which are provided by a licensed maternity home.
