Details of Public Law 119-21, section 70501 , One Big Beautiful Bill Act

The provision changes the sunset date of the previously-owned clean vehicle credit from vehicles acquired after December 31, 2032, to vehicles acquired after September 30, 2025.

California does not conform to the credit for previously-owned clean vehicles. As a result, California does not conform to the changes made by this provision.
