Details of Public Law 119-21, section 70427 , One Big Beautiful Bill Act

This provision permanently increases the limitation on the cover over amount paid to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands from the excise tax imposed on distilled spirits imported into the United States from Puerto Rico and the Virgins Islands from $10.50 to $13.25 per proof gallon.

FTB does not administer these types of excise taxes.
