Risk Must be manually assigned. The CPA must document on the “sticky note” in the comments the participant risk code being regressed. 502 (SA) PG BF NBF Infants Child Transfer of Certification: Person with current valid Verification of Certification (VOC) document from another State or local agency. Documented on Transfer into State Screen in Crossroads. The VOC is valid through the end of the current certification period, even if the participant does not meet the receiving agency’s nutritional risk, priority or income criteria, or the certification period extends beyond the receiving agency’s certification period for that category and shall be accepted as proof of eligibility for Program benefits. VOC must be scanned into Crossroads. 503 (CPA) PG [4] Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women: A pregnant woman who meets WIC income eligibility standards but has not yet been evaluated for nutrition risk, for a period of up to 60 days. Use of this risk must be approved by SWO. 601 (SA) PG [1, 2, 4] BF [1, 2, 4] Breastfeeding Mother of Infant at Nutritional Risk: Breastfeeding mother (may also be pregnant) whose infant has been determined to be at nutritional risk. NOTE: Infant and mother must be assigned same priority, (Priority 1, 2, or 4) based on priority of infant’s risk, i.e., the infant’s priority determines the mother’s priority. Clarification: If Risk 601 is assigned to qualify the mother, the infant’s risk cannot be only 702. You will never have a mother/infant dyad with only 601 for mother and 702 for infant. Document Risk 601, if it applies, even if other risks for the mother are assigned. Assigned based on Mother/infant dyad link in Crossroads.
