1709 Recertification of Simplified Reporting Households

Six-month reporting households, like all other households, are subject to the normal policy for recertification. All information needed to establish the allotment for the first six months of the new certification period will be obtained during the recertification interview and established timeframes for application processing. Households with no earned income and all adult members are elderly or disabled will be given a twelve-month certification period. These households are only required to report changes once every 12 months.
