In 1994 new AS 44.29.020(b) was enacted under sec. 16, ch. 111, SLA 1994, and the statutory text already in existence was assigned to AS 44.29.020(a). As of Register 211 (October 2014), the regulations attorney made a conforming technical revision under AS 44.62. 125(b)(6), to 7 AAC 80.900, so that a cross-reference to former AS 44.29.020(1) - (9) would refer correctly to AS 44.29.020(a)(l) - (9). Effective July 1, 2022, Executive Order 121 split the former Department of Health and Social Services into the Department of Health and the Department of Family and Community Services.
