Annual monitoring report. (a) At least once each year, the department will monitor an assisted living home or will require the home to submit a self-monitoring report to the department on a form supplied by the department. The annual report must contain the information requested by the department, to show that the home continues to comply with AS 47.32, AS 47.33, and this chapter. (b) The failure to submit an annual report as required by the department, or the submission of a false report, is grounds for enforcement action under AS 47.32. (c) The department may accept the report of a third-party, independent evaluation of an assisted living home, made on behalf of the home, if the report contains substantially the same information required by the department under this section.
