Originally adopted as emergency regulations that took effect on 6/18/2007 (Register 183), 7 AAC 48.575 — 7 AAC 48.590 were repealed by emergency action on 8/1/2007 in the same register (Register 183) and the repeal was made permanent. The text of those regulations did not appear in print in the Alaska Administrative Code. 7 AAC 47.599. Definitions. In 7 AAC 47.547 — 7 AAC 47.599, unless the context requires otherwise,

(1) “department” means the Department of Health;

(2) “gross income” means income before any deduction;

(3) “living with” has the meaning given in 7 AAC 40.240(c);

(4) “public institution” means a governmentally owned establishment that furnishes food, shelter, and some additional treatment or services to 16 or more persons; “public institution” does not include the Alaska Pioneers’ Home or Alaska Veterans’ Home;
