(a) Unless the context indicates otherwise, in this chapter

(1) “department” means the Department of Health;

(2) “division” means the division of public assistance in the department;

(3) “state agency” means the division;

(4) “public assistance” means Old Age Assistance, Aid to the Disabled, Aid to the Blind, General Relief, Alaska Temporary Assistance Program, Medicaid, General Relief Medical Assistance, and Heating Assistance. (b) Except as provided in (a) of this section, the definitions contained in 7 CFR 271 — 273 are adopted by reference.
